The SER- Natural Regeneration Network plans to link members who have an interest in using natural regeneration in restoration to exchange technical and scientific ideas and lessons learned to promote best practice restoration. We hope our work will support improvements in restoration education, policy development, management, planning and monitoring. Proposed activities include sharing case studies illustrating success and limits of using natural regeneration in a wide range of ecosystems (including terrestrial and aquatic) at a range of scales, as well as contributing to guidelines and terminology to advance best practice ecological restoration.
