Welcome to Connect – SER’s private, online community platform for members to collaborate across sectors, participate in discussions, share knowledge, and receive feedback and resources from others involved in this work. Whether you're a seasoned expert or just beginning your journey in ecological restoration, SER Connect offers a welcoming space to connect with like-minded individuals, access valuable resources, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of the field.
With SER Connect you will gain access to:
- Enhanced Member Directory and User Profiles
- Discussion Forums and Email Notifications
- Chapter, Section, and Committee Resources, News, Events, and Links
- Ability to send private messages to other members and respond to posts via email
You will automatically be placed in the group associated with the chapter(s) and/or section(s) you selected as part of your membership registration. You will also have access to the General Discussion Board, which includes all 5,000+ SER members. Additional groups may be developed as interest in specific topics arises.
How To Connect
- Log into SER Connect at http://connect.ser.org/ using your current SER username and password.
- Update your profile and photo by clicking My Profile. (Profile fields will need to be updated from your ser.org membership account, but you can add your photo directly through Connect.)
- View groups you're in by clicking My Groups.
- Join Groups by clicking Find Groups to Join (groups to join will be added as interest arises).
- Start a discussion by clicking Post New Discussion from the Discussions tab of any group.
- Reply to a discussion by clicking Reply… from within the discussion online OR by replying to a discussion email notification.
