Great Basin Chapter

The SER Great Basin Chapter is dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among practitioners, researchers, students, policy makers and the general public to promote the science and application of restoration ecology. Founded in 2011, the Chapter focuses on repairing and managing Great Basin and sagebrush steppe ecosystems in Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada and Utah. A recent focus of this chapter has been to provide several annual scholarship grants to undergaduate and graduate students conducting relevant research, and to encourange and fund student travel to relevant conferences.
